George Filis
I’m honoured to share that, in 2026, and for the sixth consecutive year, I have been included in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list (both on single year and career long); a list compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, using Scopus data through the ICSR Lab.
Recognition like this is never an individual achievement. It reflects years of work with outstanding co-authors, the support of colleagues at Panteion University and at the institutions I have been part of along the way, and the many students and early-career researchers who keep challenging how we think about energy and financial markets.
My sincere thanks to all of you. The questions ahead in energy and financial economics have never been more pressing, and I look forward to continuing this work together.
